Procedure of 10 Mahavidya Puja and Homam
Preparation
The altar is purified with Gangajal and decorated with flowers, red cloth, turmeric, and kumkum. Yantras for each of the ten Mahavidyas are installed with sacred geometry, and offerings like rice, fruits, and incense are arranged.
Invocation
Devotees perform Ganapati Puja and take a Sankalpam (vow) to receive blessings. Each Mahavidya is invoked through dhyana (meditative visualisation), followed by chanting of their respective beeja mantras and stotras.
Offerings & Homam
Offerings such as ghee, sesame, herbs, and flowers are offered into the sacred fire (Homam) while chanting 108 or 1000 names of each goddess. Special oblations are made using the Mahavidya mantras to invoke divine intervention and spiritual transformation.
Aarti & Blessings
The sacred ritual concludes with a grand Aarti offered to all ten Mahavidyas, accompanied by devotional chants and divine hymns.
